Professor Hans-Jürgen (“Han”) Schmidt was till recently, the Clinical Professor and Director of Clinical Programs for the Biomedical Science program at UOB (Germany). Prof. Schmidt is a leading scientist in the field of cardiovascular diseases and over the years held professorship appointments at Weill Medical College of Cornell, SNU (S.Korea) and VUT (Austria).
